“Vida Miríada” is Spanish for “myriad life”.

This blog is all about life – experiences we have, lessons we learn, joy we feel, pain we endure, people we meet and sometimes the rather mundane aspects of everyday life.

Why the name vida miríada?
Well, because life is all about the myriad experiences we have, not just in quantity but also in their very nature and substance. And it is these countless and diverse experiences that largely make us who we are and how we regard life in general. 

P.S.: Look out for the word “myriad” in our blog posts. We intend to have it feature at least once in all our posts.

Why the name vida miríada, as in why a Spanish name? Well, because I have a somewhat on-and-off yearning to learn and speak Español, ever since I visited Barcelona in 2008. I may not be fluent in Spanish as on date and all I know of Spanish are a few fundamental words that I am sure more than half of you out there are well aware of. Perhaps starting a blog with a Spanish name may in due course of time actually push me towards getting down to enrolling for a course in Spanish. Let’s see, will keep you guys posted on development (if any) on this front.

THE BLOGGERS:

Just to make it clear, this blog belongs to two of us. Best friends and both females. One of us is happily married with kids, while the other is currently single, hoping to find her right partner some day.

As this blog grows, we will keep sharing more personal details about ourselves, but to start off, we prefer to keep our “biodata” rather sketchy.

We have started this blog because we both share a passion for people. While one of us prefers advising and counseling people, the other is more adept at generally talking and communicating (thought at times just mindless chitter-chatter) with all and sundry. 

Also, now that you all know that this blog is the brainchild of two women, please do not think that one of us is a selfish bitch who came up with the title - vida miríada – all by herself and vilely coaxed the other one into agreeing to use it as the blog name. Everything currently on this blog and all that will be uploaded on this blog in the future is and will always be the combined effort of the both of us. Nothing that either one of us does not agree with will ever find its way on this blog. We are after all best friends (and we intend to stay so forever)!
